The award will honour an education project which has used classical music in an innovative way, shown musical excellence and had a positive impact on a significant number of participants.
The chairman of Sistema England spent a day at Hawthorn Primary School, witnessing how music is enriching the lives of more than 200 children.
The charity chaired by Julian Lloyd Webber enters a new phase of development in the service of children, their communities and the Sistema-inspired programmes that support them across England.
